The world is entering a new era of energy realignment. As nuclear power returns to the forefront of global policy, the supply chains that feed it are now matters of national security. Yet today, the United States – the world’s largest nuclear fuel user – remains dangerously dependent on foreign powers, mainly Russia and China, for critical steps in the nuclear fuel cycle.
American Atomics mission is to change that.
We are a new kind of nuclear company: vertically integrated, geopolitically aligned, and strategically backed by world-class partners. Our approach begins at the rock – acquiring, developing, and securing reliable uranium feedstock from safe, politically stable jurisdictions in North America. Our full ambition is to become the first next-generation fuel supplier in the West with end-to-end capabilities, including conversion and high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) production.

With over 20 years in public policy and international relations, he has advised global leaders, led CapitalKeys, co-founded Quinn Gillespie’s international practice, and earned the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
Mr. Szilagyi has 15 years experience in the U.S. mining industry, specifically in uranium and vanadium. Paul is an energy entrepreneur with a diverse background in operations, processes, technology, permitting, ESG involvement, and industry leadership. His past executive experience includes leading world class automotive tier one supply and patented hybrid electric vehicle technology.
Mr. Howell is a certified U.S. MSHA instructor with extensive exploration, development, mining, permitting, and operations experience. He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran (Captain) and the mineral Okieite was named in his honor.
Dr. Erik Hunter, advisor to the company, has over 25 years in uranium geology and processing. He holds a PhD from Colorado School of Mines and has worked with the DOE, USGS, and Smith Ranch ISR mine specializing in uranium leaching, exploration, and radiometric analysis.

In 2025, American Atomics entered into a strategic 50/50 joint venture with CVMR Inc. with the intention to build a next generation uranium mill in the United States. They are one of the world’s most respected private metallurgical companies. This partnership brings proprietary refining and conversion technology into the heart of our vertically integrated model.
